Transcripts & Certificates

Students who require their academic credentials to be sent to WES or any other official degree verification authority may request a verification service through the Swiss School of Management. A flat fee of $100 per verification request applies.

This service supports students with credential evaluations, international equivalency assessments, and professional or academic verification requirements.

Rotaract Club Membership

The Swiss School of Management Rotaract Club provides students with opportunities to participate in professional development, leadership activities, and community service projects. To become a member of the Rotaract Club, students are required to pay a one-time membership fee of $100.

The Rotaract Club organizes a wide range of projects and activities based on the interests and initiatives of its members. The program primarily focuses on three key areas:

  • Professional Development

  • Leadership Development

  • Community Service Projects

These activities help students strengthen leadership abilities, gain practical experience, build professional networks, and contribute positively to their communities.

Advanced Fees & Tuition Deposits

The application fee must be paid before an application can be processed and is strictly non-refundable.

Upon acceptance into the program, students are required to pay a tuition deposit or prepayment toward tuition fees. This payment secures the student’s place in the program and, where applicable, is required before the issuance of official enrollment or visa-related documentation for hybrid students.

The advance tuition deposit will be credited toward the final tuition balance. However, the tuition deposit remains non-refundable in cases of:

  • Cancellation

  • Withdrawal

  • Suspension

  • Dismissal from the institution

If a student requests a program deferral, the deposit may be transferred to the following academic term.

For hybrid students, installment payments (excluding the application fee) are fully refundable in cases where a visa application is officially rejected by the respective embassy or immigration authority.

Refund Policy

A tuition deposit or initial tuition installment is required upon acceptance in order to secure a student’s place in the program. This payment will be credited toward the student’s overall tuition balance.

The tuition deposit is non-refundable in cases of cancellation, withdrawal, suspension, or dismissal from the program. However, if a student defers enrollment before classes begin, the deposit may be transferred to the next available academic term.

All tuition payments are fully refundable if the institution receives a written cancellation request at least five (5) calendar days before the first scheduled class session. Please note that the $60 application fee is strictly non-refundable.

After the commencement of classes, tuition refunds are processed according to the institution’s official refund schedule. Refund eligibility is determined based on the timing of the withdrawal request and the applicable refund percentage outlined in the policy.

Module Materials

Students may choose to purchase official Swiss School of Management online class materials used throughout the academic program. These materials may include:

  • Lecture notes

  • Presentations

  • Case studies

  • Sample assessments

  • Academic learning resources

The module materials fee is a one-time payment charged at the beginning of the student’s first class. Physical copies of materials may also be requested; however, additional shipping charges will apply depending on the destination and courier rates.

Once digital materials have been downloaded or physical materials have been shipped, no refunds can be issued for those materials. Students are also responsible for obtaining any additional required textbooks or resources specified within the course syllabus.

Disclaimer / Withdrawal & Dismissal Policy

Disclaimer

Students are responsible for all bank charges and transfer fees associated with their payments.

For students who choose to leave the country and continue their studies online, the above refund policy may not apply unless the student provides valid evidence of extenuating circumstances requiring them to return to their home country and discontinue their studies.

Students who receive a study visa through the Swiss School of Management must report their withdrawal to the relevant local authorities (such as immigration departments or home office). This process will result in the cancellation of the student’s visa.

Withdrawal & Dismissal Policy

A student who wishes to withdraw from the Swiss School of Management – U.S. Online Campus for any reason must first contact the Academic Director or an authorized school representative to discuss the matter. After this discussion, the student must submit a formal written withdrawal request clearly stating the reason for withdrawal.

This request must be submitted via email to the official institution address: info@ssm.swiss. Requests submitted through unauthorized third parties (such as agents, parents, or peers) will not be accepted.

Once the request is received, it will be reviewed promptly. If approved, the institution will issue an official acknowledgment of withdrawal. Any applicable refunds will be processed according to the published refund policy.

Students dismissed due to academic misconduct, non-participation, plagiarism, or inappropriate behavior in an online environment are not eligible for tuition refunds for the current term. Such dismissal may occur without prior warning and will be communicated in writing.

Students remain financially responsible for any modules or courses for which they are registered beyond the official add/drop deadline.

Final Note

Tuition installments are 100% refundable only if cancellation is requested at least 5 calendar days before the first class session. The application fee is strictly non-refundable.

DISCLAIMER: This online program does not sponsor or support any student visa applications. Therefore, no part of this policy relates to immigration procedures or residency permits. Any misuse of enrollment for visa purposes with third-party institutions will result in full forfeiture of all fees paid.
