SSM promotes honesty, fairness, and ethical academic conduct across all programs and learning activities.

Student Integrity & Honesty

Students are expected to uphold the highest standards of integrity and honesty in all academic work and assessments.

Plagiarism

Plagiarism involves presenting another individual's work, research, ideas, or writing as one's own without proper acknowledgment.

Cheating

Cheating includes:

  • Unauthorized copying

  • Falsification of academic work

  • Fabrication of information

  • Assisting others in dishonest conduct

Related Academic Misconduct

  •  Unauthorized selling or purchasing of examinations, class notes, term papers, or other academic work
  • Stealing another student’s work

  • Possessing or using examinations not authorized for release

  • Falsification in academic work

  • Knowingly assisting another person to commit academic misconduct

  • The use of a ghostwriter is absolutely prohibited.

Penalties and Consequences

These acts are forbidden for graded work such as quizzes, tests, examinations, case studies, projects, or reports.

Zero grade for the piece of work.

If the student fails a module due to plagiarism or cheating, a zero grade will be given.

A re-sit examination will not be permitted.

Reporting Concerns

Concerns related to academic misconduct should be reported promptly to the Dean’s Office or designated school administrators.
